Web Applications:

• Online Order Processing And Consummation System
  Songbird developed a sophisticated online order processing system for SD Technologies, USA. The solution allowed for an intuitive and easy approach to ordering the printing of stationery such as visiting cards, envelopes, applications etc. The system made use of Scaleable Vector Graphics (SVG) technology for giving realistic previews. Specified areas in the content were made dynamic to allow entry of user details. The system included payment handling using credit cards and the processing of freight/shipping charges by integration with UPS's payment handling facilities.

  A fully database-driven website developed for SD Technologies, USA for one of their clients - a medical equipment company. The website offers a content administration tool using the Songbird Web Application Framework (WAFFLE)

• Extranet (Client : SD Technologies, USA)
  

  An on-line order automation tool developed for SD Technologies for their client - Service Printers, a Printing company in USA.

  The tool allows users to select the stationary to print, customize the print job and view previews.

  The previews were generated using Scaleable Vector Graphics (SVG) and PHP as well as by using the GD-enabled raster graphics libraries.

  The tool included a Reporting Module and a User Management module.

• Paraclete (Client : Exodus Group, LLC, USA)
  

  NOTE: This product is in incubation.

  Paraclete is a Construction Loan Management System for North American banks. The solution was developed to support an Application Service Provider(ASP) business model with each bank subscribing to use the service.

  The solution was developed to be highly customizable, using a message-driven architecture tying together various service providers.

  The salient features of the System are:

  • The entire communication in the Loan Management process between Banks, Borrowers, Contractors, Workers was automated using a Notifcation System.
  • Highly customizable process parametrs tailored to handle different poicies and methodologies adopted in banks
  • Customizable work flow and authorization structure for different operations and tasks
  • Application was developed to use a Python Webware Application Server and running on Linux and Apache.
  • SQLObject - a database Object Relational Mapper (ORM) was used to abstract database management
  • PostgreSQL was used as the database with the connection pooling handled using PysoPG

  A multilingual database driven website developed for Corporater, a Norwegian Software Company. The Content Management engine Waffle which drives the website was developed using PHP, Javascript, MYSQL.
