TLM conducts clinical trials on various drugs.
The new modular Clinical Research Framework developed by Songbird Technologies for TLM, which includes tools for distributed data collection, distributed monitoring and reporting facilities along with a robust access control mechanism will greatly enhance TLM's ability to:
a) Collect data from the satellite hospitals in a disconnected operation where Internet connections may not always be available.
b) Collate the data from the satellite hospitals into the central server via an easy-to-use synchronization mechanism.
c) Correlate data collected from various studies
d) Allot access to data and clinical research functionality per researcher
The Clinical Research Framework will allow for addition of new clinical research modules without requiring any changes to the existing framework, thus protecting TLM's interest in the short as well as in the long term. |
